What time will the event begin?
The event will begin at 6:00pm on October 17, 2026 for guests with Dinner Tickets.
The event will begin at 8:30pm on October 17, 2026 for guests with Evening Celebration Tickets.
How is the evening going to flow?
You can purchase a Dinner Ticket and spend the entire evening with your friends starting with a special reception followed by a multi-course dinner with wine and then the dance party OR you can purchase an Evening Celebration Ticket that let's you join a bit later to mingle with friends, enjoy late night food stations, entertainment and music/dancing. We'll all join together in the same ballroom at about 9pm for connecting with friends, music and dancing. There's another room nearby for those who want to share stories over quieter conversations.
Why are there 2 different ticket levels?
We want EVERYONE to be able to see friends and celebrate our school, regardless of your budget or time, so we designed this gala to give you some choice in how you participate.
What’s the difference between the Dinner Tickets and the Evening Celebration Tickets?
The Seated Dinner Ticket option gives you the whole night to connect with the NJC community starting with a very special cocktail reception (where you can also meet the new Head of School) to a multi-course high-quality served meal including wine service at your table. Dinner tickets also include enjoy the entertainment and dancing the night away all together.
The Evening Celebration Ticket is perfect for those who want to arrive just in time for the party mid-evening (at a lower cost). The Evening Celebration gives you a fun, immersive experience with classmates and new friends. You can enjoy food stations and drinks, interactive photo booths/memory station, find something special at the silent auction, and then dance the night away! This ticket will pack in so much, starting from your arrival and registration after 8:30.

What if I want to sponsor a table?
You have two options to sponsor a table:
● Fête-level table sponsors ($8,000) and their guests will enjoy

○ A Tax Receipt for the Table Sponsor, less the cost of the tickets
● Zermatt-level table sponsors ($12,000) and their guests will enjoy

Will everyone be together during the celebration?
Absolutely - the energy of being all together will be amazing! The Evening ticket registration starts at 8:30. The ballroom doors will open at approximately 8:45 with a music and lights show to bring us all together in the ballroom. Watch for some fun video stories about the Neuchâtel experience and then the DJ will get the dancing started!
How Do I Sit with My Friends at the Dinner?
Lots of ways you can be with your friends! If you arrange a group of 10 people together and register as a full table of 10, you'll be together. See if you can get others to sign up with you! That makes the full table option easiest. If it won't work to organize 10 people together, register with the names you want to sit with and let us know (on the registration form) who else you would like to sit with (or at a nearby table). We will do our very best to put people you request at your dinner table or the next table. We will also arrange years close together so you can easily find your friends even if you don't sit together.
We're calling it 'Black Tie Optional' and you know what that means - we are going to dress-up and be glam! It's a classy event and you can be creative about how you show up - so bring on your best 'fit. Also feel free to have some fun with this and dress to a school theme - show your Neuchâtel spirit.
Is there Parking at the Fairmont Royal York?
Parking is not included in your ticket, but you have paid options downtown. There are two parking options at the Fairmont Royal York. Valet is available at the east entrance of the hotel. Self Parking is available, access is off Wellington Street East, just north of the hotel.
We highly recommend you purchase tickets in advance as the event is likely to sell out; we have a limited number of tickets available, and we would hate for you to miss out! This is a once in a lifetime event, Neuchâtel Junior College only turns 70 once!
How can I help the school in addition to having fun connecting at the Gala?
We deeply appreciate any level of donation to support 70th anniversary initiatives, including program enhancements and bursary funds to ensure all students can participate fully! When you register for a ticket, there is a 'Donate' button. If you can afford to add a bit more for school needs, we are really grateful. There are also Special Table Sponsors at the Zermatt level or Fête level. You get a tax receipt for your donation and the extra funds will support 70th anniversary initiatives and the gala event. Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the event?
Tickets are transferrable up to the date of the event. Tickets are refundable up to August 31, 2026 less administration fees. No refunds will be issued from September 1st forward. Cancellation must be received in writing before August 31, 2026 at 5 pm eastern time. Substitutions (i.e. name changes) are allowed.
